Mission

We, the faculty and staff of the Paragould School District, accept the responsibility for educating all students to their maximum level of educational potential. We will provide a quality and equitable education within a safe and orderly environment to produce graduates who are capable of responding to their future roles as productive citizens and lifelong learners.

Elementary students learn and mature in an environment that feels "grown up" without the social stresses of junior and senior high. Seventh and eighth graders attend Paragould Junior High School, while Paragould High School is home to freshmen through seniors. The district also includes The School of the 21st Century, a unique concept providing comprehensive child care for infants and toddlers with before/after school care programs.

Demographics

Paragould School District has nearly 2,700 students (pre-K to high school) and is served by 260 teachers. The district is comprised of 6 school campuses:

  • Baldwin Elementary
    (K-4)
  • Woodrow Wilson Elementary (K-4)
  • Oak Grove Elementary (K-4)
  • Oak Grove Middle School (grades 5-6)
  • Paragould Junior High School (grades 7-8)
  • Paragould High School (grades 9-12)
